1 Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using XYLO ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2 Description of Service

XYLO is an on-device document intelligence application that:

• Scans and extracts text from documents using your device's camera
• Imports and analyzes PDFs, images, and other document files
• Records and transcribes audio using on-device speech recognition
• Generates AI-powered summaries, notes, checklists, and data tables
• Allows you to ask follow-up questions about your documents (Document Chat)
• Identifies document types, named entities, key figures, and sensitive information

All processing occurs entirely on your device. No data is transmitted to external servers.

3 Availability & Pricing

XYLO is available as a free download on the Apple App Store. The free tier includes 3 document analyses with full access to all features — document chat, voice chat, smart intelligence, comparison, and history.

For unlimited document analysis, a one-time Lifetime Access in-app purchase is available ($9.99 USD). There are no subscriptions or recurring fees. All future updates are included.

Purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. You can restore purchases on any device signed in to the same Apple ID.

4 AI-Generated Content

The App uses on-device AI models to generate summaries, analyses, and answers. You acknowledge that:

• AI output is not guaranteed to be accurate. Summaries, analyses, and answers may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.
• The App is not a substitute for professional services. Do not rely on the App for legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
• Document classification is approximate. Detection of document types, entities, and sensitive information is automated and may miss or misidentify content.
• Chat answers are grounded in the document but may contain inaccuracies. Always verify important information against the original document text.

5 Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create, scan, or import into the App. The App does not claim any rights to your documents, analysis results, or chat conversations.

Since all data stays on your device, you are solely responsible for backing up your content. Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all stored data.

6 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Process content that violates applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models bundled with the App
• Redistribute the AI models downloaded by the App
• Misrepresent AI-generated summaries or chat answers as human-written professional analysis

7 System Requirements

XYLO requires iOS 26.0+ and a device with 6 GB RAM or more (iPhone 13 Pro or newer, iPad Pro M1+, iPad Air M1+, or iPad mini 7th gen). We reserve the right to update system requirements as AI technology evolves.

8 Third-Party AI Models

The App uses on-device AI through two paths depending on your device:

On devices with 8 GB+ RAM, the App uses Apple Intelligence via the FoundationModels framework — no download required. On 6 GB devices, the Gemma model is downloaded once during setup. All models are used solely for on-device inference and are not modified or redistributed.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT, LOSS OF DATA, OR INACCURATE DOCUMENT CLASSIFICATION.

11 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
